Version 3.0 delivers additional functionality in the following key areas.

Pre-integrated Databases : Out of the box integration with the industry leading database providers to ensure your configuration data needs are met. Solutions range from low footprint storage mechanisms for smaller devices through to full database functionality for large distributed systems.

Linux PAM : Access control now includes integration with Linux Pluggable Authentication Modules for provision of common credentials across the management interfaces.

VxWorks 6.6 : Support for WindRiver’s latest operating system has been added, providing embeddedMIND with ports on all major embedded operating systems in use by network equipment providers.

Other updates include the ongoing tracking of the Netconf draft standards, a powerful  new mechanism for handling application re-configuration and productivity enhancements in MINDConstructor, the Eclipse-based deployment toolchain.
